Michael is in his final year of pursuing a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling at William James College. Passionate about providing meaningful and compassionate care, Michael’s studies coupled with attentive supervision have emphasized the importance of the working therapeutic alliance and collaborating with clients along their therapeutic journeys.
With experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Michael has worked with children and adults where contextual life stressors have impacted their mental health. Michael has experience working with addiction, trauma, depression and anxiety. Above all, he is dedicated to the therapeutic relationship and acknowledging the significance of each client’s unique lived experiences.
Michael enjoys working with a wide variety of clients and aspires to create safe therapeutic spaces for them to feel supported and empowered. Utilizing an integrative therapeutic approach, he embraces a non-judgmental, trauma-informed and affirming stance that emphasizes providing individualized and holistic care. To synthesize these ideas into practice, he is guided by psychodynamic, person-centered and cognitive behavioral modalities.
We are limited in what insurance plans we can accept for working with an intern. We can accept Aetna, Cigna & United insurances. If you have other insurance that we are unable to process we can offer a generous sliding scale for paying out-of-pocket.
