he/him/his
Ethan holds a master's degree in clinical social work from Boston University and has a bachelors in counseling psychology. Ethan has years of experience providing mental health care in a variety of settings including outpatient therapy, schools and residential programs.
Therapy is an experience that is unique to everyone. Ethan focuses on how he can adapt his approach and skills to best fit the needs of those he sees while always maintaining a warm and meaningful connection. Holding a strong anti-racist, anti-oppressive lens is foundational to Ethan's work. He draws from solution-focused, person-centered narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Motivational interviewing and psychodynamic approaches to inform his work, but always tailors his style to the person in front of him.
Ethan is open to and interested in working with all individuals and focusing on the goals brought to him. He is especially passionate for his work with individuals experiencing problems with self-esteem, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. Some areas of special interest to him are interpersonal and relationship issues, eating disorders, and working with young adults.
Ethan is working toward independent licensure as a mental health professional. During that time, he is operating under the license of his clinical supervisor.
