Dave is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who completed his master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University Seattle in 2017. He left a career in the Biological Sciences after discovering a passion for mental wellness while volunteering at a suicide crisis hotline. He has since gained experience helping adults, adolescents and families overcome challenges managing depression, anxiety, grief, anger, ADHD, substance use, relationship conflict, parenting roles and trauma.
Dave takes a nonjudgmental and compassionate approach to all of his clients and blends empathy, warmth and humor into therapy sessions. His approach to counseling is integrative, consisting of cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, interpersonal therapy and motivational interviewing. Most importantly, he believes in tailoring treatment options to the unique needs of each individual.
Dave is committed to providing a safe and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ clients and members of other marginalized groups.
