Bekah Stout, MA
Therapist
she/her/hers

Bekah earned her master’s degree in counseling from Lesley University, where she specialized in Holistic Studies. Her background as a multi-modal artist informs her work in which curiosity and creative play are honored as powerful sources of transformation and growth. Her approach is relational and humanistic and is guided by her belief in each individual’s innate wholeness and inherent tendency towards self-actualization. She embraces a biopsychosocial-spiritual framework that takes into account the whole person including family systems, social structures, trauma history and personal sources of meaning-making.

Bekah works collaboratively with clients to develop strengths-based interventions. She draws from a variety of modalities, including Internal Family Systems (“parts work”), somatic, body-oriented approaches, expressive arts therapy, mindfulness approaches, Gestalt therapy and existential psychology.

With over a decade of experience in the arts and higher education, Bekah is attuned to the challenges faced by artists, academics and university students. She is passionate about supporting individuals who may be dealing with anxiety, performance anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, depression or career transitions. Additional clinical interests include supporting clients with ADHD, with a special emphasis on understanding how ADHD manifests in women and supporting new or expectant mothers.

Bekah is working toward independent licensure as a mental health professional. During that time, she is operating under the license of her clinical supervisor.
